I once again started using that technique and collectors have noticed a big improvement so I will continue to do this. It makes for a flatter more comfortable mouthpiece. A great pipe what I would call a call a Brandy. A very comfortable pipe to smoke! I really like the highlighted black stain with the Cumberland mouthpiece. I tried something new and I really like it.
