Please remember, if you would like this piece and it is on the 15-minute hold Email me and I will reserve it for you as soon as it comes off hold status. I have had some requests lately to make my mouthpieces a bit flatter. For some reason since I started making my mouthpieces out of Ebonite I got away from a little technique that I use to use. I once again started using that technique and collectors have noticed a big improvement so I will continue to do this. It makes for a flatter more comfortable mouthpiece. I think you will notice a big difference.
Here is a very different piece for me. It started out as a Twain but it is not even close to that shape now. I used that template for the drilling but that is where it ends. While I was rough shaping it, the pipe looked kind of cool the way it was so I just left it and went with that shape. I think it turned out really cool and it also feels great in your hand! The Coal Black stain goes great with the Emerald Cumberland! If you do not own a piece with this new Ebonite material you should really try it. It is very different and makes a striking mouthpiece without being too showy. This pipe is in my Cera Tinto finish, Wax only. This piece is rusticated then sand blasted which results in a incredibly deep, craggy, almost coral like appearance. The rustication along with the rings from blasting it truly is an interesting finish to admire. Hand cut Emerald Cumberland mouthpiece w/Delrin tennon. Hand made solid sterling silver fitment. Graded L1 @ $663.00 USA SHIPPING INCLUDED (L1@650+ 13.00 S&I) Please e-mail me with any questions and thank you for looking.
