I have had some requests lately to make my mouthpieces a bit flatter. For some reason since I started making my mouthpieces out of Ebonite I got away from a little technique that I use to use. I once again started using that technique and collectors have noticed a big improvement so I will continue to do this. It makes for a flatter more comfortable mouthpiece. I think you will notice a big difference. This is my newest shape I am calling the “Twain” Thanks to Gregory Pease for the design. I really like this shape, it worked very well with my style, they all seem to come out a bit different but that is half the fun of pipe making! . It is one of those pieces that just begs to be held and fondled. I can only imagine what it will feel like all warmed up.
