I have had some requests lately to make my mouthpieces a bit flatter. For some reason since I started making my mouthpieces out of Ebonite I got away from a little technique that I use to use. I once again started using that technique and collectors have noticed a big improvement so I will continue to do this. It makes for a flatter more comfortable mouthpiece. I think you will notice a big difference. I love this Dublin! I believe it will make a great flake or Virginia/Perique pipe. Those are my favorite tobaccos so that is why I like this pipe so much. This piece blasted wonderfully and the slightly rounded top really sets it off. The lightweight and the comfortable mouthpiece will make it a great all around pipe. It has nice thick walls and I like that for a flake pipe. Actually, with these walls ands tapered chamber any tobacco will taste great!
