***REVIEW***The pipe was well packaged for shipping, and the cumberland mouthpiece & silver ring were wrapped in plastic to protect their polished surfaces. At less than five inches long and weighing only 60 grams, Larry's latest creation could almost be a pocket pipe, and yet the bowl is tall with a deep chamber, so it has a very generous capacity for its size. The rope style silver ring is eye-catching and emphasizes the contrast between the beautiful highlighted brown stummel and the cascading colors of the Golden Cumberland mouthpiece. The pipe feels balanced and comfortable in the hand, but that is only part of the story. There is a slight low spot on the right side near the bottom where the bowl and shank meet. When I hold the pipe in my left hand, the end of my second finger comes to rest in that exact spot, just as though I had been smoking it for many years and it had worn down to precisely fit my hand. Thank you, Larry, for creating yet another masterpiece. Gene in Washington State This is one of those pieces that just fit really well in the hand. I did this piece in my highlighted brown stain and I like the results. I would have normally did this in black with this mouthpiece but decided on brown instead. I am goad I did, I do like the combination. This piece has a slightly curved top and it is a sitter, or rather rocker.
