According to my template, I first made this shape in around 1989. The shape varies for me and this one has more of a apple look with the shortened shank. It will sit and it has a slight bend to the mouthpiece. A comfortable piece cut from some well aged briar from 2004. I really like the colors. The Neon Cumberland goes really well with the black stain. I have had this template in the shop since I first began making pipes, and one of my first shapes. I have one similar and it is always a fond memory making this shape. .Hand cut Neon Cumberland mouthpiece w/Delrin tennon, hand made solid sterling silver fitment. Thank you very much for looking and your consideration of my work.
