I just completed this billiard and another incredible blast! The slight bend really makes a difference and I would call it 1/16 to1/8 bent. I did something different on this piece and I cannot remember the last time I set a stone in the silver work so it definitely fits into the “special” category. I have wanted to set a stone in the silver for quite some time and I finally got around to it. It has been a long time since I used my stone setting skills and it took a bit to brush up on them but I am glad I did. While it added several hours to the completion time of this piece I was very pleased with the results. The stone is a genuine 3MM Almandine Garnet and it is one of my favorites for color. The stain and the mouthpiece go very well together and it is a sitter. Dark brown highlighted stain, hand cut traditional Cumberland mouthpiece w/Delrin tennon, hand made solid sterling silver” Garnet set” fitment. Thank you very much for looking and your consideration of my work.
