Here is a special piece for me. The shape is a bit different for one of my Billiards, slight curve to the bottom of the shank and flowing to the bowl. The finish is in my “special” rusticated and sandblast technique. I have not been doing many of these but I always like them when I do. It also came out with a natural, no stain finish which will color up and acquire a beautiful patina in a short time. I have a couple of natural finished pieces and I always admire how the natural coloring is such that no stain can match it. The mouthpiece is a subtle combination and midnight blue and black which seems to go very well with the natural finish. Nice thick walls and it is a sitter.
