I really like the look of this Billiard! It came out with a beautiful smooth top, a stunning blast and the colors look great together. The black stain is highlighted and seems to go very well with the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is a bit different. I am not quite sure what to call it but after much thought I am going to simply call it Smoky Blue Cumberland. It is a beautiful material with subtitle color characteristics. Myself, I see some dark bluish grey and at other times some more profound darker blues or grays mixed with black. It is a unique color and an ideal material for those that like the more traditional mouthpieces but at the same time would like something a bit unique. It at first glance seems almost black but upon closer inspection the colors and pattern are quite visible. The whole time working with this material it would appear to be black ebonite but not until final sanding then polishing the colors and pattern really pop. Hand cut Smoky Blue Cumberland mouthpiece w/Delrin tennon, hand made solid sterling silver “Hammer Textured” fitment. Thank you very much for looking.
