I am thrilled with this piece. A difficult shape to make and very time consuming since I never use a lathe to drill or shape my pipes. That is probably the reason I do not make a lot of this shape, it has a lot going on and kept me on my toes and it’s even a sitter! It was a lot of fun making this piece and I think it turned out wonderful. It is in my polished rustication with black stain. The high spots have a worn polished look and it really adds to the character of this pipe. Hand cut Ebonite mouthpiece w/Delrin tennon, hand made solid sterling silver “Hammer textured” fitment.
