I just completed this awesome Dublin today. The top came out beautiful with a smooth “scalloped” finish. It is a new finish I am working on and I really like it. It is done with a very shape knife and I go over the surface cutting hundreds of scallops. It is then waxed and polished and it is a very different and beautiful treatment. My photograph did not capture as well as I had hoped but I think you can get the idea. Please scroll down on the top photo for a more detailed view. This is the first piece I have produced with this finish and it is marked on the inspection card as such. The blast on the piece came out incredible and I am quite pleased with the overall look of this Dublin. I did the silverwork a bit different as well to try and match the top of the pipe. Hand cut Olive Ebonite mouthpiece w/Delrin tennon, hand made solid sterling silver “Scalloped” fitment. Thank you very much for looking.
