Got a bit creative here and I love doing more detailed silverwork on pipes. Even though it is very time consuming it always seems to be very pleasing to the eye. This piece has a very wide silver collar. Not the normal paper thin silverwork you see on other brands this is thick 22 gage (.025) Sterling Silver and is total shaped by hand. It is also nice and wide, almost ¾ of an inch and the very cool thing about it is it is flush fit. You may notice it is flush with the mouthpiece and the shank and not fitted over the shank but pressed onto a recess in the shank. The smooth top is a beautiful touch and the blast cam out awesome. Due to the time involved I do not do many pieces with this type of silver work but when I do I always love them.
