I have been working on a new finish had here it is, the first one of its kind which is noted on the inspection card and also marked with a #1 on the nomenclature panel. This piece is mainly blasted but I did do some minor rustication to give it some more cragginess. None of the rings are rusticated; this is all accomplished with the blasting technique. I think I will just call it my “Coral” finish. (I hope it is not taken) I love this pipe and it was a pleasure to make, it took a lot of time to do this piece but well worth it. I really love when pieces turn out like this. This piece has Honey Cumberland mouthpiece, which I am changing the name to “Carmel Cumberland” just to keep things straight. It is the same color as my Carmel Ebonite but with the addition of the black mixed in. It is very beautiful and goes very well with the highlighted brown stain.
