First Pipe of 2011! This is a wonderful piece that came out with a great blast. It is a variation of what I call my Cutty but with a scalloped top and the top is also a rounded diamond shape. It is one of those piece you just can’t seem to let out of your hand, yes it is a sitter. IMO, a really neat variation. This piece is rusticated then sand blasted which results in a incredibly deep, craggy, almost coral like appearance. The rustication along with the rings from blasting it truly is an interesting finish to admire. This pipe is a natural wax only finish. I discovered a superior technique than I have been recently doing for thinning my mouthpieces and I am very happy with the thinness and comfort. I will continue to do this to my mouthpieces.
