Here is one of my Billiards, another one of my favorite shapes but with a saddle bit. I do not make many of these but I have to admit, I love the way this turned out. This is a Bella Cera finish and the wood has this wonderful dark color to it, it almost looks as it has been smoked for years. Also on this piece is a much wider silver fitment than I normally make, it is ¼ in width which works wonderfully well with the mouthpiece. It is a wax only finish and with smoking and handling it colors up beautifully. This pipe is in my Bella Cera finish with a Ebonite mouthpiece. This piece is rusticated then sand blasted which results in a incredibly deep, craggy, almost coral like appearance. The rustication along with the rings from blasting it truly is an interesting finish to admire. The natural finish with the black ebonite looks great.
