Not sure what to call this piece. It started out as a canted Billiard but as I carved it this shape kept coming into focus. I guess you could call it a Poker but it is not one of my typical Pokers. This has a very nice cant to it and the step at the bottom is not as high. I do like this version, while still probably classified as a poker it has a whole new look. For the mouthpiece, this is the first time I have used this material and it is noted on the inspection card. I really like it. I was pondering what to call it the whole time carving this piece. The cloths wore in the 1960’s kept coming to mind so I guess I will just call it 60’s Cumberland. It is quite unique as it has actually four different colors that make up the material, Red, Blue, Purple and Mint Green. All in all a stunning piece. It has a beautiful smooth top and plenty of Birdseye to ponder. Feels great in the hand and it will sit. Hand cut 60’s Cumberland mouthpiece w/Delrin tennon, hand made solid sterling silver “Wide Rope” fitment. Thank you very much for looking and your consideration of my work.
