It is a beautiful reddish brown stain different from my others in the past. I love the way it looks with the Tan Ebonite. I am really liking this new Ebonite and I think it will be on the next pipe I make for myself. . I discovered a superior technique I have been recently doing for thinning my mouthpieces and I am very happy with the thinness and comfort. I will continue to do this to my mouthpieces. This piece is rusticated then sand blasted which results in a incredibly deep, craggy, almost coral like appearance.
